About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Lifeguard to join our team at M Resort. As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our guests in and around the pool area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding promptly to their needs and concerns.
  • Conduct regular safety checks and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe pool area, including the removal of debris and litter.
  • Respond to emergencies and incidents in a calm and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain a positive guest experience.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a lifeguard is preferred.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
  • Physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, and push and pull up to 150 pounds.

Language Skills

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Lifeguard Certificate.

Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a high level of customer interaction. The noise level is usually high, and the employee may be exposed to an environment containing unrestricted second-hand tobacco smoke.
