Work Schedule:
We aim for a consistent schedule. Due to the seasonal nature of our operations, working evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events is anticipated. Frequent tardiness or absenteeism will not be accepted. If you have prolonged summer vacations or other commitments, this role may not be suitable for you.
Dress Code:
All staff members are required to wear the designated uniform. Lifeguards must don company-issued shirts and shorts. Other staff will wear company-issued shirts and appropriate pants or shorts, which must be provided by the employee.
Female Staff: No extreme hairstyles or colors. Only one earring per ear is permitted (no visible piercings), and necklaces must be worn inside uniforms. Nails should not be excessively long or colored. Male Staff: Hair must not exceed collar length, no streaks or extreme colors, and no hair engravings. Earrings or visible piercings are not allowed.
Guest Interaction: Exceptional interpersonal skills and courtesy are essential at all times. By signing the application, you consent to participate in our random drug testing program on-site.
Certifications: Individuals hired in food services must possess a valid food handler's card. Cabana servers are required to obtain a TAM card. Lifeguards will receive training and certification on-site at Cowabunga Bay. Both swimming and written assessments must be successfully completed for lifeguard certification. All lifeguards will be trained, certified, and licensed by IAM StarGuard Elite. Cabana Server (21+)
Basic Function:
The Cabana Server is responsible for welcoming and serving guests in cabanas.
Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of park pricing, attractions, operating hours, and events.
- Operate the Point of Sale System (POS) efficiently.
- Complete and manage assigned stored orders.
- Deliver food, beverages, and retail items to cabana locations throughout the park.
- Ensure cleanliness of cabanas, including furniture and provided amenities.
- Maintain familiarity with menu items and adhere to specific sanitation practices.
- Keep a clean and organized work area.

4. Honestly answering questions regarding potential symptoms or exposure to COVID-19.
Qualifications: To successfully perform this role, an individual must meet the essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily.

- Must be a team-oriented individual.
- Minimum age requirement is 21 years.
Requirements, Qualifications, and Skills:
Certification/Licensure:
- Ability to obtain a Food Handler Safety Training Card and Alcohol Awareness Card.
Working Conditions:
- Must be organized and adaptable to meet time, priority, and workload demands.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- May encounter varying weather conditions, including extreme summer heat.
- Must be available to work varied shifts, including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
Physical Demands:
- This position requires extensive walking, primarily outdoors.
- While performing job duties, employees are regularly required to use hands for various tasks, reach with arms, and communicate verbally.
- Frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, crouching, or crawling is required.
- Occasionally, employees may need to sit, climb, or balance.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
