Senior Business Intelligence Engineer, AFX, App, Infra

We're seeking a highly skilled Sr. Business Intelligence Engineer to join our team at Amazon. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leveraging cutting-edge data analytics technologies and methodologies to drive business decisions through data analysis, reporting, and KPIs.
Key Responsibilities
Architect and develop scalable and resilient data solutions for real-time and batch processing, enabling self-service business intelligence for analytics users.
Build ETL pipelines, statistical models, and machine learning solutions using large, multidimensional datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities.
Partner with business owners, tech and central teams to integrate machine-learning, generative AI, and automation into scaling our programs and processes.
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand strategies, goals, and objectives, and align the analytics roadmap accordingly.
Design and implement end-to-end reporting solutions, metrics, dashboards, and automated processes to drive key business decisions and track progress.
About You
We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in business intelligence engineering. You should have a solid understanding of data analytics, machine learning, and cloud computing technologies, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Requirements
10+ years of professional or military experience
5+ years of SQL experience
Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets
Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results
Experience with AWS technologies
Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.
Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning and data mining
