Job Summary

The Amazon Publisher Monetization team is seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Engineer to play a key role in establishing scalable analytics solutions to drive business growth. As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you will partner closely with product managers, business stakeholders, data engineers, and software engineers to generate actionable metrics to support high-stakes decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable, automated, user-friendly systems, reports, and dashboards to enable stakeholders to manage the business and make informed decisions.
Implement training and documentation solutions to empower stakeholders to get the most out of our self-serve analytics tools.
Develop and support analytical technologies that provide timely, flexible, and structured access to data.
Define, develop, and maintain critical business and operational reports reviewed on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Analyze historical data to extract meaningful insights from large and complex data sets to identify trends and support decision-making.

Requirements

10+ years of professional or military experience
5+ years of SQL experience
Experience programming to extract, transform, and clean large (multi-TB) data sets
Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results
Experience with AWS technologies
Experience in scripting for automation (e.g., Python) and advanced SQL skills.
Experience in Ad tech/Media/Telco industry

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs
Experience managing, analyzing, and communicating results to senior leadership

The base pay for this position ranges from $117,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $202,800/year in our highest geographic market.
