Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diet Clerk to join our team at Friendly Senior Living. As a Diet Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive the nutrition they need to thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately record and maintain dietary preferences, allergies, and restrictions for our residents.
  • Enter and update patient meal orders in electronic systems, ensuring accuracy and adherence to prescribed diets.
  • Collaborate with dietitians and kitchen staff to ensure residents receive appropriate meals based on their dietary needs and state regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with residents and staff to ensure their needs are met.
  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of weekly menus in adherence to dietary guidelines.
  • Update and revise menus to accommodate changes in resident needs, seasonality, and special events.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident dietary information, including meal orders, modifications, and preferences.
  • Generate reports and summaries for medical and administrative purposes, as required.
