POSITION SUMMARY:
As a Clinical Nutrition Specialist, your extensive knowledge in nutrition enables patients to receive tailored, high-quality dietary plans that are crucial for optimal nutritional care.

Food and Nutrition Services

WORK SCHEDULE:

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or a related discipline is required.

Registered Dietitian credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (must be obtained within 6 months of employment)
One (1) to three (3) years of relevant experience is preferred
Strong analytical, computer, and communication skills
Exceptional customer service and patient care abilities


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Nutritional Assessment:
Conduct comprehensive nutritional evaluations for all patients; contribute to Nutritional Support Service discussions for assigned patients; track and document patient progress.

Dietary Planning:
Offer recommendations for formulations, rates, and volumes for all tube-fed and TPN patients; educate patients and families on specialized diets and general nutrition; prepare dietary instructions for complex dietary needs.

Patient Care:
Develop individualized care plans based on clinical data, interviews, diagnoses, and treatment objectives; supervise dietetic technicians in delivering patient care.

Bachelor's Degree:
Required in Dietetics

  • Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing, or squatting.

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full-time applicant. It may be adjusted in the future and is eligible for additional pay components. Compensation is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
