West Virginia Construction Services Director

Each and every role throughout our organization makes a difference in our ability to change the world for the better. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our Construction Services program in West Virginia.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the delivery of all civil, highway, water & wastewater construction services
- Responsibility for construction management, project controls, inspection staff supervision, and quality control
- Business development, strategic planning, staffing, project financials, training, and QA oversight
- Serve as a Project/Construction Manager on projects, such as program management and construction engineering
- Client management and team collaboration
- Thorough understanding of construction management standards of practice
- Familiarity with construction scheduling processes, materials, means and methods of construction in West Virginia
- Business development skills and knowledge of local market, clients, competition, and recognition in the industry
- Leadership skills, including positive attitude and strong people skills
- Experience with construction management software packages and Microsoft Office
- Bachelor's in civil engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 10 years' experience in various aspects of construction planning and management
- Experience in the construction of heavy civil, transportation, water and wastewater projects
- Experience with private and public clients
- Professional Engineer (PE) within the State of West Virginia or ability to obtain expeditiously
- WVTRET Board Certifications or ability to obtain expeditiously
- Experience with WVDOT's construction management software including AASHTOWare Project (AWP)
