Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for directing all activities associated with sponsoring a high school club, including meetings, events, and activities. This role requires effective communication skills, a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution, and a West Virginia teaching certificate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct all activities associated with sponsoring a high school club
• Develop and implement strategies to promote the club and its activities
• Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and school staff
• Collaborate with other club sponsors and school administrators to ensure a cohesive and supportive environment

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution
• West Virginia teaching certificate
• Effective oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated ability to produce quality club members
• Demonstrated ability as a quality classroom teacher
• Ability to interact with individuals and groups in motivating school and community interest in the National Honor Society program
