Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced House Supervisor RN to join our team at Providence Portland Medical Center. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for coordinating the general operation of the Department of Nursing and providing administrative coverage for our medical center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the daily operations of the Department of Nursing, ensuring seamless delivery of patient care services.
  • Provide administrative coverage for Providence Portland Medical Center, including leadership and decision-making responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care and outcomes.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve nursing practice and patient care.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing feedback and coaching to support professional growth and development.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • 1 year of Charge Nurse or leadership experience and demonstrated leadership abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • National Certification in med-surg or related nursing area upon hire.
