Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained, cleaned, and serviced to prevent breakdowns and ensure food safety.
  • Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergencies, accidents, and equipment breakdowns, and report incidents to management.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of kitchen operations, including inventory, expenses, and staff performance.
  • Compliance: Ensure all food service operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Requirements
  • Culinary Arts Degree: A degree in Culinary Arts or a related field is required.
  • Management Experience: At least one year of management experience in a kitchen or food service environment is required.
  • Certifications: Must be a certified food handler under the California Safety Code and possess a CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong attention to detail.
Working Conditions

The Kitchen Supervisor will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with frequent exposure to heat, noise, and physical demands. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods is required.
