Key Responsibilities:- Loan underwriting with a special focus on healthcare assets.
- Review applicant qualifications, model metrics, and financial data to ensure loan feasibility and risk.
- Develop financial models for bridge loan opportunities and evaluate potential healthcare transactions.
- Conduct background checks and KYC reviews on all parties to the transaction.
- Oversee financial and operational due diligence for healthcare financing requests.
- Calculate and interpret investment returns, analyze borrower-provided operating and capital expense budgets, and compile market data.
- Assist with identifying and gathering application items needed to complete credit authorization memoranda.
- Communicate effectively with clients, outside attorneys, and stakeholders.
- Present loan write-ups to the bank's credit committee and facilitate loan closings.
- 1-4 years' related work experience as a Commercial Real Estate Financial Analyst or Commercial Loan Underwriter.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Highly proficient Excel skills.
- Strong finance, credit, legal, commercial real estate, and business background.
- Established organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects.
- Experience underwriting healthcare facilities preferred.
