Real Estate Manager

As a CBRE Real Estate Manager, you will oversee the operational and financial activities of a single property or small portfolio of properties. This role is part of the Property Management job function, responsible for operating buildings on behalf of a client or group.
This position requires strong leadership skills to motivate the team and drive quality, efficiency, and effectiveness in the job discipline and department.
You will be responsible for providing formal supervision to employees, monitoring their training and development, conducting performance evaluations and coaching, and coordinating the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
Additionally, you will coordinate and manage the team's daily activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. You will also set and track staff and department deadlines, mentor and coach as needed, and respond to escalated tenant needs and issues.
As the primary contact with property owners, you will serve as the owner representative to ensure that objectives are being met. You will prepare and deliver timely, accurate, and complete reports, develop and control annual budgets for operating and capital expenses, and forecast management plans and prepare monthly performance reports, explaining variances.
You will also help create programs that will assist the property with emergency recoveries, prepare all required legal notices for approval, and review tenant rent and common area maintenance recovery charges to ensure payment is on time.
Finally, you will lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values, influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement, and apply knowledge of own subject area and how it integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.

Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Real estate license required, and CPM (Certified Property Manager) or RPA professional designation or candidacy preferred.
Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems. Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
