Overview:

As a Biomedical Technician II at OEM Medical Solutions, LLC, you will play a vital role in our Biomedical team, ensuring that medical devices operate at peak performance. This position demands a proficient individual responsible for both on-site visits to customer facilities and in-house technical support, focusing on preventative maintenance, evaluations, and repairs of diverse medical equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a robust technical background, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a dedication to providing outstanding service.

The standard work schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, with no on-call responsibilities. Occasional travel for on-site assistance is required, and travel expenses will be reimbursed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform on-site assessments at customer locations for the installation, upkeep, and troubleshooting of medical devices.
  • Execute in-house repairs, maintenance, and testing of biomedical equipment.
  • Conduct calibration, testing, and quality assurance evaluations on various medical devices.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all service operations, including repair documentation, preventative maintenance reports, and parts management.
  • Deliver detailed reports to clients and internal teams regarding service operations and equipment conditions.
  • Collaborate with the Biomedical team to establish and implement best practices.
  • Carry out repairs and inspections with an emphasis on safety, organization, and cleanliness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or certification in Biomedical Engineering / Biomedical Technology.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a Biomedical Technician role.
  • Expertise in diagnosing and repairing a wide array of medical devices.
  • Strong knowledge of medical equipment safety standards and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently for on-site customer engagements.
  • Possession of reliable transportation, a clean driving record (4+ years with no incidents), and compliance with healthcare facility screening protocols.
