A typical day for an Advanced Practice Nurse includes:

  • Collaborating with clinical staff to enhance patient care.
  • Diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries; ordering laboratory tests and prescribing medications for patients of all ages.
  • Exhibiting the capability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate personalized patient care based on age-specific requirements.
  • Executing common urgent care procedures including wound repair, abscess drainage, splinting, and interpreting EKGs and X-rays.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree and appropriate certification
  • Current NP State License in the relevant area
  • Experience in emergency medicine or urgent care settings
  • Credentialed to treat patients across all age groups
  • Active DEA license without restrictions
  • Current DOT certification or willingness to obtain certification

Our facilities operate seven days a week from 8 AM to 8 PM. Full-time employees are expected to work three 12-hour shifts weekly. ClearChoiceMD offers an environment where like-minded professionals can grow and enhance their skills.
