Hematology Advanced Practice Provider

Dartmouth Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at the Dartmouth Cancer Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with established Hematology/Bone Marrow Transplant clinicians, the Palliative Care Team, and the survivorship program to provide high-quality, compassionate, evidence-based, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide care to individuals and their families from diagnosis through end-of-life, including identification and treatment of acute and late effects of therapy.
- Perform procedures as required for patient assessment, including bone marrow biopsies and intrathecal chemotherapy.
- Work closely with the clinic nurses and provider staff to coordinate care for patients under treatment and manage acute therapy side effects.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences, faculty meetings, research, and quality improvement projects.
- Actively participate in the Advanced Practice Provider team of the Dartmouth Cancer Center through attendance of monthly team meetings, journal club, biannual peer review process, and annual retreat.
- Prepare for, participate in, and attend required conferences, meetings, and committees as requested.
- Teaching opportunities and academic appointment with the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth at a level commensurate with experience.
- Participate in clinical research, relevant to the hematology patient population, providing clinical care and follow-up assessments as required by protocol.
- Participate in the education and professional development of fellows, residents, nurses, medical students, and other healthcare providers as appropriate.
- APRN Minimum Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited APRN program, Board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), Eligible for APRN licensure in the State of New Hampshire and State of Vermont, Eligible for Federal DEA Registration.
- Physician Assistant Minimum Qualifications: Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program, NCCPA certification, Eligible for PA license in the State of New Hampshire and State of Vermont, Eligible for federal DEA registration.
