Role Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and operational management of New Glenn, a heavy-lift spacecraft designed for transporting personnel and cargo to diverse orbits.
  • Leverage your technical knowledge, leadership capabilities, and cooperative approach to improve the safety of human spaceflight.
  • Oversee risk, issue, and opportunity management processes, collaborating closely with engineering and program management teams to identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks.
  • Manage the risk database, facilitate risk review meetings, and mentor team members through the risk management framework.
  • Concentrate on refining metrics and reporting systems to deliver insights into the risk management activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Project Management.
  • Demonstrated ability to formulate and execute strategies for effective risk mitigation.
  • Experience in the aerospace product lifecycle and risk management is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical abilities.
  • Capacity to thrive in a dynamic environment and foster strong relationships.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and quality assurance.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Tableau.
At least 3 years of direct experience in Risk Management.
Background in aerospace vehicles or engines.
Knowledge of Primavera (P6), Doors Next Gen, CREO, Windchill, and Microsoft Suite.
