Job Overview

The Military Program Liaison Specialist serves as the essential on-site contact for the Army during the assessment of prototype systems. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all operational requirements are met and that communication flows smoothly between various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate multiple overseas deployments, acting as the liaison between on-site military personnel and the Program Management Office (PMO).
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation and coordination of all aspects related to overseas assessments.
  • Provide regular situational updates regarding the operational status of systems, spare parts, maintenance, and training activities.
  • Assist the PMO in tracking system requirements and development efforts, contributing to ongoing engineering improvements.
  • Engage with operators and military personnel to deliver PMO messages while gathering feedback on system performance.
  • Prepare and present briefings, analyses, and reports to government clients, offering clear recommendations for action.
  • Monitor cost, performance, and schedule metrics, providing insights to the Project Manager.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key personnel during deployments to foster a positive work environment and ensure mission success.

Qualifications

Essential Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience in military overseas deployments.

Essential Skills:

  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • Proven ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Capability to work independently and remotely while delivering value to government clients.
  • Skill in presenting complex information concisely with actionable recommendations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and MS Teams.
  • Diverse skill set necessary for mission accomplishment in remote settings.
  • Adept at identifying risks to mission success and ensuring stakeholders are informed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with non-traditional defense contractors.
  • Familiarity with rapid prototyping methodologies.
  • Broad experience in logistics, system fielding, test planning, and senior military messaging.
  • Knowledge in Counter Small UAS, Air Defense, and sensor/C2 operations.

Travel Requirements: 50% travel may be necessary.

Security Clearance:

  • Selected candidates may undergo a government security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information.
