Job Description

Thompson Gray Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Foreign Military Sales Specialist to provide case support to the Security Assistance Management Directorate (SAMD) in support of Security Cooperation customers.

The ideal candidate will have strong skills in case writing and execution, as well as experience in developing Pricing and Availability Sheets (PAS) in Integrated Major Pricing Analysis and Reporting Tool (IMPART) and FMS Letters of Offer and Acceptance (LOAs) in Defense Security Assistance Management System (DSAMS).

  • Develop and maintain accurate and complete case files, including PAS and LOAs, in support of case line item pricing and execution.
  • Review and analyze Letters of Request (LORs) for accuracy, completeness, and country requirements, ensuring compliance with the Security Assistance Management Manual (SAMM) and governing regulations.
  • Collaborate with SAMD International Program Managers (IPMs) to ensure Required Delivery Dates (RDDs) are achieved and case line items are written and priced accurately.
  • Assist in the coordination of Program Management Reviews (PMRs), Working Level Meetings (WLMs), and recurring internal meetings to ensure cost, schedule, and performance objectives are met or exceeded.
  • Ensure Foreign Military Sales (FMS) regulations and statutory requirements are adhered to accordingly.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience in Army Aviation or Missile preferred.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum Education - Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum Years of Experience - 3-5 years concentrated in the functional responsibility area of the position to be filled.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively communicate with team members.

ACTIVE secret security clearance is required.
