Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to detect potential problems and ensure peak performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues, including Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
- Execute preventive maintenance plans and carry out scheduled maintenance tasks to reduce equipment downtime.
- Work alongside management to devise strategies for enhancing equipment performance and reliability.
- Maintain precise records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Ensure adherence to all safety and environmental regulations.
- Provide technical assistance and training to team members as required.
- Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician, ideally in the Food and Beverage Sector.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing PLCs is preferred.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, along with industrial equipment and machinery.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and manuals.
- Strong communication skills and capability to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Experience with preventive maintenance programs.
- High attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
- Physical capability to lift heavy equipment and work in demanding conditions.
- A degree or diploma in a relevant field is preferred.
