We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our team at Ridge Lake Animal Hospital. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our doctors in delivering high-quality medical, surgical, and dental services.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist veterinarians in medical, surgical, and dental procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.
- Prepare patients for surgery, administer anesthetics, and monitor patients during surgery and recovery.
- Perform dental cleanings, assist with dental procedures, and maintain a clean and organized operating room.
- Administer medications, perform laboratory tests, and maintain accurate patient records.
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing education on pet care, medication, and follow-up instructions.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless patient care and efficient practice operations.
- Current licensure as a Veterinary Technician (LVT, RVT, or CVT) in the state of [insert state].
- High school diploma or equivalent required; previous veterinary experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
