Position Overview:
Under general supervision, the Banquet Server is responsible for delivering prompt and courteous food service to guests. This role involves setting up, serving, and breaking down assigned functions while ensuring a safe and efficient environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review Banquet Event Orders (BEO) to understand set-up requirements.
  • Arrange tables in the designated area with precision and uniformity.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service station while adhering to established protocols.
  • Utilize proper techniques for clearing tables and managing buffet setups.
  • Assist the Lead Banquet Server with the setup and breakdown of special food service areas.
  • Welcome and serve guests in accordance with company standards for food and beverage service.
  • Follow all procedures related to guest checks and money handling during service.
  • Complete assigned side work efficiently.
  • Remain attentive to guests throughout their dining experience, consistently meeting or exceeding service expectations.
  • Be available to work flexible shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Local travel may be required for off-site catering events.

Qualifications:

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:
Minimum of three months in a similar role.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Basic understanding of customer service principles and food service operations.

Physical Requirements:
The physical demands of this position include the ability to lift and carry trays and equipment, maintain mobility in crowded environments, and stand for extended periods. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.

Work Environment:
This role is physically demanding, requiring prolonged standing, walking, and lifting in a predominantly indoor setting.
