Electrical Design Engineer

Technical Development Corp is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing control systems for industrial automation machines.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with Mechanical Designers and Controls Engineers to create control systems that meet customer requirements.
- Develop detailed electrical design packages, including schematics, cable routing diagrams, and panel layouts.
- Specify electrical and controls-related hardware and software, and produce requisition forms for material purchases.
- Work with internal teams to improve methods of integrating controls technology and ensure enhanced safety and functionality.
- Integrate third-party equipment and electronic components into electrical design packages.
- Verify electrical design packages are complete, accurate, and safe.
- Work with project managers, customers, designers, and electricians to solve problems and provide a complete functional system.
- BS Degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
- Five years of experience as an Electrical Designer.
- Experience with Electrical CAD Software, such as AutoCAD Electrical, E3, or E-Plan.
- Familiarity with designing machines in accordance with UL508A, NFPA70, and NFPA79.
- Experience designing industrial automation machines, including related equipment.
