Job Title: Lead Engineer for Advanced Systems Integration

About the Role:

This exciting opportunity is for a highly skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and integration of advanced systems, including the MQ-4C Triton unmanned aircraft system.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide technical direction, execution, and oversight of assigned capabilities within Increment 2 development efforts, Diminishing Manufacturing Sources initiatives, and Foreign Military Sales Integrated Functional Capability qualification.

* Facilitate technical support, review, and approval of engineering documents and drawings.

* Support program reviews as an engineering review authority and assist in resolving program engineering challenges (technical, financial, and staffing).

* Coordinate across programs and functions for common efficiencies and operational gains.

* Make decisions that impact the organization's operations and services.

* Comprehend and analyze complex problems and develop solutions.

* Utilize good communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and good oral and written presentation skills.

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and 8 years of related technical experience; Master's degree in a STEM field and 6 years of related technical experience, or PhD in a STEM field; 4 years of related technical experience.

* Understanding of DoD design process.

* Active DoD Secret clearance.

* Ability to obtain and maintain Program Access within a reasonable period of time.

* Experience as SME, Technical lead, Integrated Product Team Lead, Chief Engineer or other engineering leadership role that demonstrated team building, organizational and interpersonal skills.

* Experience with development programs.

* Experience with communication systems, networks, and architecture.

* Experience with DMS replacement evaluation, selection, and qualification.

* Expertise understanding of the Design, Manufacturing, and Test process.

* Expertise in systems development, integration, and test.

Estimated Salary Range: $180,000 - $220,000 per year
