Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer to join our team at Alutiiq. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex systems, working closely with our customers to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering, as well as experience with system design, integration, and testing. You will also have excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop complex systems, including vehicle barriers and electronic security systems.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems and ensure seamless operation.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including test plans and reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering from an accredited institution.
  • 8-12 years of relevant experience in system design, integration, and testing.
  • 4 years of experience with electronic security systems and digital/analog systems.
  • Experience with Lenel, Physical Security Systems, and Access Control Systems preferred.

Salary Information

The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
