We are currently looking for a Bilingual Human Resources Specialist & Safety Coordinator to enhance our team.



Position Overview:

The Human Resources Specialist will be instrumental in supporting the HR functions across our manufacturing sites. This role will also encompass responsibilities related to safety management within these facilities.

The Specialist will handle HR-related tasks at a professional level, collaborating closely with local leadership and the senior HR management team.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Address and resolve employee relations matters, conducting thorough and impartial investigations. Provide guidance to management on disciplinary actions and track all related processes.
  • Oversee and maintain records of salary adjustments and performance evaluations, ensuring timely completion.
  • Lead recruitment initiatives for various positions and facilitate new hire orientations and exit interviews.
  • Participate in unemployment hearings as needed and manage workers' compensation case files.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, including documentation and reporting requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of departmental goals and maintain HR information systems.
  • Collaborate with the Safety Manager to implement safety policies and conduct regular inspections to identify hazards.
  • Provide safety training and promote a culture of safety awareness among employees.
  • Stay informed on safety regulations and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal standards.
Qualifications:

Education:
o Bachelor's degree required.
o HR Certification is preferred but not mandatory.
o Safety Certification is a plus.

Experience:
Minimum of five (5) years in HR generalist or safety coordination roles.

Skills:
o Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish or Vietnamese is advantageous.
o Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with various stakeholders.
o Customer-focused approach with a high degree of professionalism and discretion.
o Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
o Proficiency in MS Office and HR software is beneficial.
o Willingness to travel as required.
