Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Talent Acquisition Concepts. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will serve as a technical authority for our client, leading facility engineering projects throughout the facility planning, design, construction, warranty, and operations lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop engineering solutions for complex mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Lead facility engineering projects, including design, construction, and operations, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical expertise and support.
- Develop and maintain technical specifications, drawings, and visual aids.
- Conduct design reviews, submittal reviews, and training plan reviews to ensure compliance with client criteria and industry standards.
- Provide quality assurance to ensure compliance with client criteria, codes, standards, and policies and procedures.
- Develop testing, maintenance, lockout tagout, and safety procedures.
- Work with senior leadership to grow our mechanical practice.
- Oversee assigned staff and ensure the application of company policies.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- FE/EIT Required, Professional Engineer (PE) registration preferred.
- 5 years of direct experience in facilities mechanical systems, including HVAC, Plumbing, Building Automation Systems, and testing adjusting and balancing.
- Experience in a supervisory capacity is desired.
- Superior track record of client satisfaction in mission-critical facilities and a passion for analyzing, troubleshooting, optimizing, and upgrading integrated systems in aging facilities and campus environments.
- Knowledge of LEED requirements and industry standards and practices, including ASHRAE, BCA, ACG, and GSA.
