Position Summary


Little Ones Academy is seeking a dedicated toddler educator. We are in search of qualified Teachers and Assistant Teachers who are passionate about nurturing young learners. We value creative individuals with a positive mindset and a genuine affection for children. Our educational approach emphasizes learning through play, ensuring a joyful experience for both educators and students.

Qualifications

Requirements:
  • Minimum age of 21
  • Experience working with children aged 1 to 3 years
  • Teachers must possess, at a minimum, an active FCCPC (CDA) or an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education.
  • Proficiency in computer usage and data entry skills.
  • Dependability and a strong work ethic are essential.
  • Ability to accept guidance and supervision during work hours.
  • CPR and First Aid certifications must be obtained within 60 days.
  • Completion of fingerprinting and background checks is required.
  • Physical ability to lift 40 pounds, bend, stoop, crouch, reach, sit on the floor, crawl, walk, talk, and possess visual acuity.
  • Experience with CLASS is preferred, or willingness to complete all CLASS training.



Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with a team of educators and administrators who share a commitment to providing exceptional educational experiences for our students.
  • Experience with Teaching Strategies Gold is required.
  • Design and implement lesson plans while assessing student progress.
  • Engage with parents to discuss student needs and objectives.
  • Develop curriculum that accommodates various developmental stages.
  • Create a safe and welcoming environment in the classroom.
  • Provide attentive supervision and caring service to our members and their children.
  • Organize age-appropriate activities to foster a fun, playful, and secure atmosphere.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly space, ensuring toys are sanitized as necessary.
  • Foster a respectful environment that honors diverse child and family cultures, values, and backgrounds.
  • Ideal candidates will be patient, adaptable, energetic, self-driven, and innovative, thriving in a collaborative setting.
  • Strong customer service skills are essential for effective communication with parents.
  • Fulfill annual professional development requirements as mandated by state regulations.
  • Complete 30 clock hours of Professional Development annually.
