Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and provide patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, applicable state Nursing Practice Acts, and ANA Standards of Practice.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on cancer treatment options, side effects, and self-care strategies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure and Associate Degree in Nursing required.
- ONS Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certificate Provider or ONS Chemo/Biotherapy Fundamentals Provider or ONS Chemotherapy Provider certification required within 1 year of employment start date.
