We are seeking an experienced part-time Patient Service Representative to join our busy Multi-Specialty Practice at Advanced Specialty Care.
Key Responsibilities:- Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate patient appointments and schedules to ensure efficient use of provider time.
- Communication: Respond to patient inquiries, address concerns, and provide clear information about medical services and policies.
- Referral Data Entry: Accurately enter and manage patient referral information in our Electronic Health Records system.
- Insurance Verification: Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement.
- Pre-Certification: Obtain pre-authorization for medical imaging requests and other procedures as needed.
- Medical Records: Receive, process, and maintain confidentiality of all patient medical records.
- Confidentiality and Security: Maintain the confidentiality and security of all Protected Health Information (PHI) in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Additional Duties: Assist with other administrative tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management.
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with Electronic Health Records and computer software applications.
- Communication and Organizational Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday (9 am to 5 pm, flexible work schedule). Salary based on experience.
