We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at AdeIphi Medical Staffing. This contract position is based in Lexington, NC and offers an exciting opportunity to work with patients of all ages and backgrounds.

About the Job

As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders comprehensively. You will diagnose the type and severity of communication issues via clinical evaluations and diagnostic tests.

You will create personalized treatment plans aligned with each patient's specific needs and goals. Your responsibilities will include delivering therapy to enhance articulation, fluency, voice, comprehension, and expression. You will also address swallowing disorders and promote safe swallowing practices.

In addition to these key responsibilities, you will provide guidance on augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices when required. You will educate patients and families on strategies and exercises for improved communication and swallowing.

You will continuously assess and document patient progress, adapting treatment plans as needed. You will collaborate closely with a healthcare team, including physicians, therapists, and educators, for holistic care.

The estimated salary for this position is $1,754 per 35 hours for travel and $1,726 per 35 hours for local clients. The schedule is Monday through Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
