About the Role

Lexington Premier Nursing & Rehab is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our therapy team. This is a full-time opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a skilled nursing or geriatric setting and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in our resident population.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and assess speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in residents.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and resident needs.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care to our residents.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in KY.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
  • Experience in a skilled nursing or geriatric setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
