Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Training and Development Specialist to join our team at Helio Health. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in facilitating trainings focused on CASAC classes for individuals looking to become credentialed alcohol and substance abuse counselors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Training Institute Director in knowledge management, keeping training materials up-to-date, and production of new training material.
  • Maintain the learning management system, manage course registrations, and collate training-related data and reports.
  • Develop and implement new training programs, research new products, and attend train-the-trainer programs.
  • Identify and engage speakers and trainers, manage continuing education credit hour requests, and deliver courses and trainings.
  • Set up and use A/V equipment, including online training systems, and coordinate conference events and continuing education credit.
Qualifications
  • Qualified Health Provider (QHP) status is required, within 6 months of hire.
  • Hold a Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC), Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, Licensed Mental Health Practitioner, Licensed Social Worker, or Certified Therapeutic Recreation Therapist license or credential.
  • Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum two (2) years clinical experience, with previous experience facilitating groups or in-service training preferred.
