Training Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Training Specialist to join our team at Helio Health. As a Training Specialist, you will play a critical role in facilitating trainings focused on CASAC classes for individuals looking to become credentialed alcohol and substance abuse counselors.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Training Institute Director in knowledge management, keeping training materials up-to-date, production of new training material, maintaining the learning management system, managing course registrations, and collating training-related data and reports.
- Program development, including research for new products, attendance at train-the-trainer programs, speaker/training identification, and continuing education credit hour requests.
- Course delivery, including course facilitation, setting up and using A/V equipment, including online training systems, and conference planning/management.
Requirements:
- Qualified Health Provider (QHP) status is required, within 6 months of hire.
- You are a QHP if you hold any of the following licenses or credentials: Credentialed Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC), Registered Nurse, Nurse practitioner, Licensed mental health practitioner (including permit eligible), Licensed social worker (including permit eligible), Certified therapeutic recreation therapist.
- Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred.
- Minimum two (2) years clinical experience.
- Previous experience facilitating groups or in-service training preferred.
