Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Executive Vice President, Investment Banking to join our team at Wedbush Securities. Key Responsibilities
  • Initiate new client relationships with companies within our core sectors, including Technology, Healthcare, Consumer Retail, and Financial Institutions.
  • Engage in marketing activities with existing and new potential clients, and manage the deal pipeline to drive revenue growth.
  • Work on all aspects of the transaction life cycle, from client sourcing and marketing to due diligence, negotiation, documentation, and closing.
  • Develop and communicate strategic direction for the Investment Banking team, under the supervision of senior management.
  • Search for new advisory opportunities and evaluate financial statements and results to recommend appropriate strategic and financing solutions to clients.
  • Develop strong internal relations with various departments to maximize cross-selling strategies and drive business growth.
  • Mentor and develop team members to ensure the continued success of the Investment Banking group.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, with an MBA, CFA, CPA, or other advanced degrees/credentials desirable.
  • 7-10+ years of experience in a reputable Investment Banking firm, with a proven track record of lead generation and increasing responsibilities.
  • FINRA Series 79 required, with Series 24 preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to bring in new clients and drive business growth.
  • Self-driven with the ability to work independently, and highly proficient in financial statement analysis and financial modeling.
