Job Title: Security Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Security Specialist to join our team. As a Security Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and servicing access control, CCTV, and surveillance systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure security management solutions, including access control, intrusion alarm, and closed circuit television systems.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and troubleshoot equipment and devices associated with security systems.
- Perform upgrades and additions to systems to increase functionality and usability.
- Enter computer program data to add closed circuit television cameras, access control devices, and intrusion alarm systems as needed.
- Coordinate with administration and other trades to complete projects efficiently.
- Read and understand technical documents, drawings, and prints to install equipment correctly.
- Terminate equipment and field devices while verifying operation from the field to the reporting systems.
- Lead teams and delegate tasks as needed, demonstrating proper techniques.
Requirements:
- Ability to read technical documents, drawings, and prints.
- Good communication skills and the ability to think on your feet in a fast-paced, technically demanding environment.
- Experience with IP-based systems.
- Working knowledge of Software House, Open Option, and Lenel.
