District Manager

Job Summary:
Public Storage is seeking a skilled District Manager to lead our multi-unit locations and drive sales and customer service excellence. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and leading an effective team, executing company strategies, and promoting operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead an Engaged Team:
Recruit, motivate, and retain a dedicated team of customer-facing employees.
Drive team performance through effective communication and coaching on customer service and sales strategies.
- Brand Ambassador & Operational Excellence:
Manage physical assets, including repair and maintenance systems, vendor management, and cleaning standards.
Oversee delinquent tenant processes, including auctions, to reduce delinquency rates and improve customer retention.
Conduct monthly property audits to ensure operational standards and safety compliance are met.
- Deliver Outstanding Customer Service:
Provide a welcoming and well-maintained environment to customers through effective facility maintenance and vendor management.
Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly in a professional manner.
- Grow and Maintain a Robust Business:
Drive business growth through analytics, identifying trends and developing strategies to capitalize on opportunities.
Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and team members.
Benefits:
$116,000 first-year annual total compensation award opportunity, including base, guaranteed bonus, and restricted stock units.

Qualifications:
Demonstrated leadership in building, developing, and retaining high-performing teams in a retail, service, or related industry.
Proven track record of top-tier performance.
Experience managing operational audits and payroll budgets.
Exceptional communication and time management skills.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Passion for sales and customer service excellence.
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Weekend availability by telephone.
Five work Saturdays per year required during peak season.
