Medical Assistant or LPN

Mankato Clinic is seeking a Medical Assistant or LPN to care for patients with compassion, empathy, and respect. The ideal candidate will assist physicians and providers with patient visits, greeting, rooming, and educating patients. The role involves setting up for exams and procedures, taking vital signs, and documenting symptoms. The successful candidate will join a team of providers and staff dedicated to delivering high-quality care and an exceptional patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist providers and departments in maintaining an efficient daily operation
Perform core nursing functions as needed for the department
Document patient data in the Electronic Health Record system
Administer medications and/or immunizations in correct dosages as ordered
Distribute educational materials and observe patients for reactions
Requirements:
Current LPN license or degree/diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant Program
Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
Ability to utilize computer for daily work
Patient-centered, accountability, teamwork, integrity, and excellence
Preferred Qualifications:
Active Medical Assistant certification or registration
Ability to obtain certification within 90 days of employment
