Job Summary

SSM Health is seeking a skilled RN Triage Specialist to provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring timely and effective delivery of care.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care, including physician and nursing orders.
  • Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs, ensuring seamless transitions to post-acute care.
  • Apply evidence-based practice and scientific knowledge to nursing practice, ensuring patient care is delivered based on age-specific needs and clinical requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or equivalent education for licensure.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Registered Professional Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice.
