Job Responsibilities:
  • Monitor the production environment for alerts and provide incident support, including communications, trending, and tracking.
  • Interact with I.S. teams and infrastructure vendors to resolve issues and deliver internal and external customer support.
  • Administer and support basic change control, working under general supervision and selecting from written instructions and established procedures.
  • Provide routine and regular contact with employees within and outside of the work unit, requiring explanation, discussion, and interpretation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent preferred.
  • Well-organized and task-oriented with effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Intermediate level proficiency with Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), Time Sharing Option (TSO), Multiple Virtual Storage (MVS)/Job Control Language (JCL), and Multiple Virtual Storage (MVS)/Virtual Telecommunications Access Method (VTAM).
  • Intermediate technical knowledge of hardware and software, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint).
