### Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at The Loomis Communities. As a part-time weekend nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality nursing care to our residents.

### Key Responsibilities

* Ensure the delivery of high-quality nursing care to residents in compliance with federal, state, and local standards
* Supervise nursing personnel and perform essential functions
* Continuously provide direct and individualized person-centered care while directing day-to-day nursing activities
* Participate in patient treatment regimens, including administering medications under the supervision of a physician and registered nurse
* Establish and document patient treatment regimens under the supervision of an RN or MD and implement treatment

### Qualifications

* Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing
* 1-2 years of LTC experience
* Licensed Practical Nurse
* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
* Ability to read, write, and speak English
* Ability to relate well to all residents, including the emotionally upset
* Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the public
