Job Title: Rail and Transit Office Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Rail and Transit Office Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing field engineering assignments, including development of plans, schedules, contracts, procedures, and construction methods and systems for assigned projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and approve subcontractor performance to ensure contract compliance and adherence to accepted construction technology and standards.
- Develop and implement construction methods and systems for assigned projects.
- Assist the Project Manager as required and attend meetings to take minutes and distribute them.
- Coordinate and distribute design reviews and track RFI's.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or construction-related field, or equivalent construction-related work experience.
- 8+ years of experience in field construction, preferably in the construction of large civil/structural and/or industrial projects at domestic and/or foreign locations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of engineering and construction-related processes and industry practices.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, familiarity with CAD and other PC software packages, and proven ability to perform in a lead capacity on a project.
Software Skills:
- MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Bluebeam, ProCore, Adobe Acrobat.
Desired Skills:
- Amtrak experience is a plus.
