Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of personal injury cases, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Conduct comprehensive case reviews to determine the legitimacy of a claim and identify liable parties.
  • Coordinate with clients to gather necessary information and documentation.
  • Conduct legal research to support case preparation and identify relevant laws and regulations.
  • Work closely with attorneys to prepare for pleadings, motions, discovery, hearings, trials, and mediations.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and information regarding case status.
  • Ensure all case-related deadlines are met and documents are properly filed.
  • Coordinate with medical providers, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel as necessary.
  • Create and maintain case management reports to track case progress and identify potential issues.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager or in a similar role within the legal industry.
  • Deep understanding of personal injury law and ability to apply knowledge to individual cases.
  • Strong legal research skills with ability to interpret laws, rulings, and regulations in legal documents.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with ability to manage large caseload and meet strict deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to effectively communicate with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in legal case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proactive approach to work, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Bachelor's degree in law, paralegal studies, or related field preferred.
  • Paralegal certification or equivalent a plus.
