We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Operator to join our team at Connexion Systems & Engineering, Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various manufacturing equipment, ensuring high-quality production and meeting production targets.
Key Responsibilities- Equipment Operation: Safely operate and maintain production equipment, including laser marking, magnetizer, grinding, and thermal chamber machines.
- Production Quality: Inspect in-process parts to ensure consistent quality and remove defective products, packaging, and component material.
- Process Improvement: Assist with root-cause analysis activities for processor product exceptions and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with production team members to achieve production targets and meet customer requirements.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of production activities, including equipment maintenance and quality control measures.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience on a manufacturing/production floor preferred, with a focus on operating high-speed production machinery.
- Skills: Critical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, walk frequently, and lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.
The Manufacturing Operator will work in a shop atmosphere with open floor space, occasional noise, and a climate-controlled environment. The ideal candidate will be able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
