About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at Goodwill-Easter Seals Minnesota. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate a cash register, handling cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and cash wrap area.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling returns, exchanges, and other customer requests.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store atmosphere.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 0-3 years of retail experience, preferably in a customer-facing role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.
