About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Semiconductor Equipment Innovation to lead our Particle and Defectivity R&D Lab. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for establishing a laboratory to drive cutting-edge R&D and accelerate the development of new products.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in engineering and research, with experience in managing teams and leading projects. You will work closely with our equipment/process development department to provide feedback on the correlation of data linked to chemicals, process conditions, chamber materials, process performance, variation, and defect density for equipment development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish laboratory targets and management policies
  • Acquire necessary members for activities
  • Design and create Test Equipment Gauges (TEGs) for evaluating shape and electrical defect density using patterned wafers
  • Develop functional TEGs for evaluating new processes/materials
  • Collaborate with the equipment/process development department to provide feedback on equipment development

Requirements:

  • Bachelor or higher degree in Science or Engineering
  • Strong background in engineering and research
  • Experience in managing teams and leading projects
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
