Job Opportunity

Village Dental Raleigh is seeking a dedicated and experienced EMT-A to join our team as a Dental Assistant. This is a unique opportunity to utilize your medical expertise in a different capacity and contribute to the well-being and dental care of our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate sedation appointments and assist with monitoring patients undergoing sedation.
  • Assist in preparing patients for sedation, including obtaining medical clearances and conducting interviews as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records and collaborate with the dental team to ensure thorough documentation of patient information, treatment plans, and sedation records.
  • Assist with dental treatments as instructed and take and record dental histories and patient records.
  • Prepare instruments, clean treatment areas, and sterilize equipment.
  • Responsible for patient flow and keeping treatment rooms neat and organized.
  • Instruct patients in oral hygiene.
Requirements:
  • Current BLS certificate
  • Current OSHA and HIPAA certificates
  • North Carolina Emergency Medical Technician - Advanced Certification
  • Nitrous monitoring course
  • Strong knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work well in a team environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication and interpersonal skills
