Sagitec Solutions is on the lookout for an Agile Product Manager to collaborate with department Executive Directors, Business Owners, system developers, quality assurance, product delivery, training, and sales teams to guide the advancement of the Benefit Payments product.

As an Agile Product Manager, you will lead cross-functional teams in the creation of a high-quality product that adheres to industry best practices and standards, consistently striving for the enhancement and expansion of the Neospin Benefits Administration Solution and the team.

Neospin Benefit Administration Solutions are deployed by Sagitec teams across clients in the US and globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with Customers:
    • Analyze customer business needs and emerging market trends, regulations, and compliance to determine Minimum Viable Product (MVP).
    • Formulate and present Business Cases to stakeholders for product development and enhancements.
    • Showcase product features and provide Subject Matter expertise on best practices to customer teams.
  • Develop Product Vision and Roadmap:
    • Assist the product manager in providing business context and features for the product roadmap aligned with customer and market demands.
    • Lead the development of a product roadmap and communicate it to stakeholders.
    • Enhance product standards to improve quality and market viability.
  • Gather and Implement Feedback:
    • Identify, communicate, escalate, and resolve team dependencies and challenges.
    • Evaluate product delivery for requirement fulfillment and pinpoint areas for improvement.
  • Prioritize Team Backlog:
    • Create a robust program backlog based on insights from business owners, industry regulations, and emerging trends, ensuring alignment with the product roadmap.
    • Oversee the elaboration and sizing of user stories for product features.
    • Refine the backlog to set feature priorities for Program Increment planning and present to stakeholders.
  • Support Team Value Delivery:
    • Motivate agile teams to achieve Iteration and Planning Interval goals.
    • Ensure the delivery of an outstanding product in accordance with program increment timelines.
    • Validate and accept the developed features and stories of the Program Increment.
    • Guide and mentor the team on product subject matter, design, development, and technology standards using leading practices.
    • Foster a culture of continuous innovation and product enhancement.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • 8+ years of experience as a Product Owner or 5+ years in Pension-related roles.
  • Proficiency in SAFe, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and project methodologies.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure Dev/Ops or similar application lifecycle management (ALM) tools.
  • Strong understanding and commitment to user-centered design principles.
  • Successfully implemented configurable product design and business patterns.
  • Managed and prioritized backlog/requirements to refine features and stories of the minimum viable product (MVP).
  • Ensured product and design quality standards in software development.
  • Analyzed and transformed business requirements while collaborating with subject matter experts (SME) to translate vision into functional design.
  • Coordinated responsibilities of onsite and offsite project teams.
  • Provided product expertise to meet client expectations.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to convey technical solutions to non-technical audiences.
  • Comfortable presenting to groups of 10 or more.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • A team-oriented, quality-focused, and business/end-user-centric mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with defined benefit, defined contribution, and health/life insurance benefit systems, particularly in Benefit Payments.
  • Preference for candidates with Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO) and/or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certifications.
  • Strong preference for experience in implementing enterprise, product-based solutions.
