Key Responsibilities
  • Care and Management of Animals
    • Ensure that animals are properly fed and watered
    • Monitor animal health and take corrective action as needed
    • Follow proper protocols for euthanasia and disposal of deceased animals
  • Care and Management of Facilities
    • Ensure that facilities are clean and well-maintained
    • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and disinfecting
    • Assist with repairs and maintenance of equipment and facilities
  • Record Keeping and Reporting
    • Maintain accurate records of animal health, feeding, and other relevant data
    • Prepare and submit reports as required
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve common goals
    • Communicate effectively with management and other stakeholders
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • No previous experience required, but a willingness to learn and take on new challenges
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and move animals safely
  • Work Environment
    • Work will be performed indoors, with occasional outdoor tasks
    • Exposure to noise, dust, and other environmental factors
