Job Summary:The Business Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the community's business office. This includes managing finances, performing payroll administration, handling financial-based concerns, recruiting and training new team members, and managing accounts receivable and payable functions.
Responsibilities:- Financial Management: Manage the community's finances, including accounting and business office functions.
- Payroll Administration: Perform payroll administration, including processing paychecks and benefits.
- Financial Concerns: Handle financial-based concerns from residents and/or their families.
- Recruitment and Training: Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and train new team members.
- Accounts Receivable and Payable: Manage and direct all accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, including collections.
- Education: High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Experience: Three (3) or more years of experience in business office management.
- Skills: Knowledge of state, federal, and/or provincial employment standards and practices. Ability to perform or learn budget analysis and variance reporting. Proficient in using Microsoft Office and standard office equipment.
This position entails standing for long periods of time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to communicate effectively with others, sit, stand, walk, and use hands to handle keyboard, telephone, paper, files, and other equipment and objects. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to review detailed documents and read computer screens. The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The work environment requires appropriate interaction with others. The noise level in the work environment is moderate. Occasional travel to different locations may be required.
