Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately enter and manage data in our GIS system.
  • Generate high-quality maps and project deliverables.
  • Manipulate large, complex GIS data sets with ease.
  • Provide GIS software support to staff and clients as needed.
  • Assist with the setup and use of GIS software and GPS equipment.
  • Collect accurate field data.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Experience with ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online.
  • Proficiency in Geoprocessing within the ArcGIS environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team atmosphere.
  • Valid driver's license for regional travel.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of GIS applications in Local Government, Public Works, and Civil Engineering.
  • Experience with developing automation within the ArcGIS environment using scripting languages like Python.
  • Ability to communicate and promote geospatial solutions.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D CAD software.
  • Knowledge of mapping-grade GPS devices.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and documents.
